Associate Membership Now Closed

16th May 2022

Such has been the rate of applications this year that we already need to close the door on Associate Memberships.

Once a full reconciliation has been completed to include subscriptions and postal applications received, there may be scope to accept a few more Associates.

As usual, we remain open for Full (local) Membership applications until further notice.

If you’ve joined The Federation this year, welcome and best wishes for the coming river season.

Sheldons and East Stoke access and dog rules

11th August 2022

The Secretary has received complaints regarding early starters at our Sheldons fishery.

Just to confirm that, unless otherwise stated, access to Federation waters is from Dawn until Dusk. More specifically, this is Civil Dawn to Civil Dusk.
There are several websites where the times for these can be found in fact typing “dawn and dusk times for Newark on Trent” into Google should provide today’s timings.

A good alternative is The Time and Place.

Please also note that dogs are NOT allowed on Sheldons nor on the upstream field at East Stoke (first dozen or so pegs).

Your cooperation is appreciated.
