Fishery name River Witham – Long Bennington

From Newark, take A1 southbound and turn-off signed Long Bennington. Continue along Main Road for approx. 1 mile before turning left into Church Street.
Continue for approx. 500m to a footpath on the left which leads to the river.
NB. Please respect resident parking, leave dropped kerbs clear and don’t park in Wood Close.
Walk along footpath and cross the river footbridge. The fishery extends upstream and downstream of the bridge on the far (eastern) bank only and extends for approx. 35 pegs in total.
The fishery has produced double-figure bags of Roach in Autumn and also contains some decent Chub and Perch.
