Description

To access the fishery, turn right opposite the Lord Nelson pub in Winthorpe (Holme Lane), go over train line and turn immediately left (gate should be unlocked). This is the downstream end of the fishery with peg 75 immediately in front. Vehicles can be driven along the river bank with parking behind every peg and in the car park under the A1 road bridge at the upstream end of the fishery. Night fishing is permitted on this stretch which is popular with Carp and Barbel anglers.
