We would like to remind all members that the consumption of alcohol on club venues is NOT allowed. Any member and anyone accompanying them found to be drinking on our venues will be asked to leave immediately, assuming they are capable of driving, and will be reported to the committee for possible further sanctions.
This is done with the best possible intentions. Alcohol impairs our reactions and balance and as most of our river venues have fairly steep and uneven banks, the possible consequences of consuming alcohol are obvious.
