Please be aware that the Environment Agency we will be carrying out some night time fish monitoring of stretches of the River Trent over the next 2 weeks.
Thu 24th July: Colwick – Leen confluence
Mon 28th: Stoke Lock – Gunthorpe
Tues 29th: Gunthorpe – Hazelford
Wed 30th: Hazelford – Averham
Thu 31st: Nether Lock – Cromwell
The surveys are carried out from a boat moving at slow speeds using acoustics techniques to detect fish remotely, so will not disturb fish. However, we drive close to the banks so please be aware of us to prevent damage to lines.
The survey work is weather dependent, so dates may change within those weeks.
